The SM-J11 Glass Tube Edge Polishing Machine is designed for fire-polishing the cut ends of large-diameter glass tubes, removing sharp edges and producing a smooth, rounded rim suitable for safe handling and sealing. Polished tube edges are essential in glass teapot bodies, laboratory cylinders, industrial glass tubes, and any glass product where the cut end forms part of the finished product surface.
The machine applies controlled flame to the tube edge, bringing it to a temperature where surface tension smooths and rounds the glass without deforming the tube wall. With a diameter range of 90–120mm and length range of 70–400mm, the SM-J11 is specifically suited to large-format glassware production including glass teapot bodies, cylinders, and large laboratory tube products.
Producing 200 pieces per hour, the SM-J11 provides a significant productivity improvement over manual flame polishing operations in glass tube processing workshops.
