Product Overview

The Double Drop Glass Ball Making Machine extends the glass ball forming range to larger diameters by using a two-drop process — combining two measured drops of molten glass to form a single, larger sphere. This approach allows production of larger glass balls (typically 20–60mm diameter) with consistent spherical geometry and smooth surface finish, which would be difficult to achieve with a single drop alone.

The double-drop process involves sequential delivery of two precisely controlled glass gobs that fuse together and are shaped into a sphere by the forming mechanism. PLC control manages the timing and volume of each drop to ensure consistent ball size and weight across production runs.
