A glass bead and capillary tube cutting machine is a machine that cuts thin glass capillary tubing into short, uniform sections at high volume, holding tight length tolerances and clean, flat cut faces across a range of small tube diameters.
The SM-J71 Glass Bead & Capillary Tube Water Cutting Machine uses cold-process water jet technology to cut small-diameter glass bead tubes and capillary tubes. Because water cutting generates no heat, there is no thermal stress, no tube explosion risk, and the cut ends are neat and consistent. This makes it especially well-suited for very small bead tubes (≤3mm) where thermal cutting methods cause breakage or inconsistent results. Manual feeding, fully automatic cutting with direct length setting. Every machine is built under Sea Melody’s ISO 9001:2015-certified quality management system.

Water cutting is preferred for very small diameter tubes (≤3mm) where the cold process prevents explosion or cracking. It also produces very neat, consistent cut ends. For larger capillary tubes (2–6mm) or where post-cutting washing is undesirable, the SM-J69 dry cutting machine may be a better fit.
