A laser glass cutting and trimming machine is a machine that uses a focused laser beam to cut and finish glassware cleanly without mechanical blade contact, producing smooth, crack-free edges and reducing breakage on delicate glass.
The SM-J73 Laser Cutting & Trimming Machine is a non-contact glass trimming solution for cutting off and polishing excess sections on blown glassware. Unlike traditional blade-based methods, laser cutting does not physically touch the glass, eliminating the risk of cracking, chipping, or stress fractures — making it the ideal choice for large, thick, or irregularly shaped blown glass products that cannot be trimmed by conventional cutters. The machine covers a diameter range of Φ50–220mm with a separate polishing rotary table. Every machine is built under Sea Melody’s ISO 9001:2015-certified quality management system.

Laser trimming is non-contact — there is no physical blade touching the glass, so there is no risk of cracking, chipping, or stress fractures at the cut point. This is especially important for large, thick, or irregularly shaped blown glass where blade pressure would cause breakage. Laser trimming also produces a cleaner edge that requires less polishing.
