Product Overview

The SM-J38A Glass Teapot Body Cutting Machine is the starting machine in the glass teapot production sequence, cutting long high borosilicate glass tubes (1200–1800mm) into short body blanks (50–400mm) ready for the teapot bottom sealing and body blowing processes. Precise cut length determines the final teapot body volume, making dimensional accuracy at this stage critical to the quality of the finished teapot.

The machine handles the 35–120mm diameter range of large glass tubes used in teapot production — tubes that are too large for standard ampoule and vial cutting machines. It uses a thermally controlled glass cutting method that produces clean, straight cuts without cracking or chipping the tube wall.

As the first process machine in the glass teapot line, the SM-J38A is designed to integrate seamlessly with Sea Melody’s bottom sealing, body blowing, edge folding, handle attaching, and spout attaching machines for complete teapot manufacturing.
