The Glass Teapot Body Blowing Machine is the central forming machine in the glass teapot production line, transforming cut glass tubes into the rounded, balloon-shaped teapot body that defines the teapot’s capacity, appearance, and heat retention characteristics. It uses a controlled glass blowing process — heating the glass tube then expanding it with air pressure against a forming mould — to achieve consistent body dimensions batch after batch.
The machine is a widely applicable glass reforming platform: you can blow directly on the tube without bottom sealing, or blow after one end has been sealed in the teapot bottom sealing machine. More than 12 different programs can be preset in the PLC for different teapot products, enabling rapid product changeovers without tooling replacement.
With compatibility for both sealed and unsealed tube blowing, the machine serves a wide range of glass vessel applications beyond teapots, including pitchers, flasks, and custom glass vessel forms.
