Product Overview

The Glass Teapot Bottom Sealing Machine is the first forming step in the glass teapot production line after tube cutting. It seals one end of the cut high borosilicate glass tube to form the teapot body base, creating an airtight sealed bottom that will withstand the thermal and mechanical stresses of tea brewing use.

The machine uses a controlled oxy-gas flame to heat the tube end to forming temperature, then closes and shapes the sealed base to the required profile. The process is optimised for high borosilicate glass, which requires precise temperature control due to its lower thermal expansion coefficient and higher melting temperature compared to standard glass.

As the first machine in Sea Melody’s complete glass teapot production line, the bottom sealing machine sets the quality foundation for the entire teapot body. It pairs with the body blowing, edge folding, handle attaching, and spout attaching machines to form a complete glass teapot manufacturing line.
