The J19B1 Glass Processing Lathe is a universal glass and quartz lathe designed for the thermal processing of glass tubes in the φ40mm to φ230mm diameter range. It is primarily used for butt jointing of glass products but is also suited to sealing, shaping, and other flame-working operations.

The J19B1 is designed for glass tubes from φ40mm to φ230mm in diameter. For smaller diameters or larger diameters, Sea Melody offers other lathe models in the J19B series to cover the full range.
Yes — the lathe is suitable for both borosilicate glass and quartz tube processing. Quartz requires higher flame temperatures; please confirm your material when enquiring so we can recommend the appropriate torch setup.
